Coming to Sapa to conquer Fansipan, watching clouds and terraced fields with ripe yellow rice. There are many exciting experiences await you in this misty town. If you are going to travel sapa and still do not know what to do, you can refer to this article of mine.
1. Conquer Mount Fansipan
Previously conquering Fansipan is the dream of many young people. Now things have been easier since the cable car was inaugurated. It only takes a few tens of minutes to sit on the cable car cabin, you are present at the highest mountain of 3 Indochina countries. For those who still like to climb mountains, like to conquer challenges and overcome themselves, they can still climb.
2. Watch the most spectacular terraced fields in the world
Terraced fields in Sapa are honored as one of the most magnificent terraced fields in the world. Nature not only gives people in this land an ideal landscape and climate. But also give them skillful hands. For hundreds of years, they weave their masterpieces – these are the steps leading up to the sky. In September, the rice harvest season is when the green fields are replaced by bright yellow. This is an extremely attractive time to go to Sapa.
3.See Sapa town from above
Observing the town from a hut 1800m on Ham Rong peak is an interesting experience that anyone who comes to Sapa should try. The town is at a different angle. The roads, hotels, tourist resorts are suddenly small at your feet. Not only that, on Ham Rong mountain, you can also see colorful flower gardens and cross small rocky ravines in Thach Lam stone garden.
4. Enjoy the sunrise and sunset of Sapa
The early morning cold wind will make you shiver slightly. Hugging in a warm cup of coffee, a side dish of omelette, looking out the window at a hotel with a beautiful view. You will meet a gentle Sapa in the morning dew. Waiting for the afternoon to end, the sun gradually disappears after the Hoang Lien Son mountain range, Sapa is dyed by a purple color, something romantic and sadly sad.
5. Walk to explore villages of upland areas
Walking tours in Sapa will bring you unforgettable experiences. Sapa is one of the longest walking tourist destinations in the world. Coming to Sapa will be when you walk tens of kilometers, walking from morning to afternoon, passing through town, villages, through rice fields, small streams, bridges … walking to slow down, observe and learn more about the life and culture of indigenous people here. Attractive walking tourist sites can be mentioned: Sapa, Cat Cat, Lao Chai, Ta Van and Ta Phin. The longest, most interesting walk is the walk from Cat Cat – to Lao Chai – to Ta Van to stay homestay.
6. Sleep in a homestay at Ta Van
The homestay houses of the Day people are in Ta Van village, in the middle of the center is Ta Van Ecologic, where I used to stay and enjoyed it.
Arrive in Sapa, sleep in a homestay in the home of an ethnic minority. Eat typical, new and popular dishes. Wake up in the village, between nature will be a wonderful experience that you cannot forget when coming to this land. Sapa homestay service is very developed, you can be assured of housing and food hygiene. The ideal place to sleep homestay is Ta Van, believe me, you will not forget the feeling of comfort when waking up in the bungalow in the middle of the ripe rice field!
7.Sun the Sunset atop Qui Ho Pass.
Located on the way to Lai Chau, through Silver Falls and Love Falls, you will visit O Qui Ho Pass. One of the four great passes of the northern mountains and forests and the longest pass in Vietnam (~ 70km). This is also the most ideal sunset view in Sapa. You should come here at 17:30 to watch the sunset. Combined with visiting Silver Waterfall – Tinh Yeu waterfall and O Quy Ho mountain peak in one afternoon. One of the places / experiences not to be missed when traveling to Sapa.
8. Enjoy Sapa specialties
It would be a pity if you miss the attractive specialties in Sapa such as stone sprouts, sturgeon hotpot, salmon salad, pork pork, buffalo buffalo meat … and the aromatic baked goods at night in the center of town. Weather Sapa is very suitable to enjoy grilled hot pot or hotpot together with a cup of corn wine.
