The body is a part of our human nature and must be kept fit in order to remain calm and happy. Yoga is science as well as art. It is a science because it provides practical ways and methods for controlling the body and mind, thereby improving the meditation process. It is an art because, unless it is been practiced intuitively and sensibly, it won’t give superficial results.
Yoga is not a system of belief. It takes into account the influence of our body and mind and thus, helps in body control and boosts body energy. So often, the mind can’t handle the day to day tensions and workloads which in turn lead to variations in attitude and behavior. But yoga is a mean which helps in improving the flow of energy to the brain, which in turn provides a positive attitude. So, let’s start with practicing yoga on this yoga day.
On this yoga day, we want you to start the most important part of your body and health i.e. practicing yoga. If you are a beginner to yoga, read the following tips which will help you to get started.

A teacher can guide you on what yoga poses to practice first and how often, based on current health and body structure.
